Well, this is I. It took some research to find the image I assure you since I very much prefer to be the person behind the camera and not the one in front of it. (The story behind the image is that we were testing the lighting before a photo shoot. Someone had to put herself where the model would be sitting later and that someone turned out to be me.)

Linn Arvidsson is my name. I am a photographer based in Sweden with a passion for expressive and contemporary photography. I tend to be carried away by old, abandoned industrial parks (talk about expressive!) and ‘forgotten’ areas in cities. Now, before you call the nearest psychiatrist and send him/her to my house I must point out that I do shoot plants and gardens as well. The common denominator is the element of change.  And hey, a close up of the bark of a pine tree does not differ all that much from the flaky paint from a rusting metal cabinet, does it?

My works are mainly published in different magazines in Europe, but Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia are represented on the map of customer countries as well. Apart from the blog ‘A Photography Blog’ I manage linnarvidsson.com which is a more formal online gallery. Photos from the blog tend to migrate over to the gallery eventually so the two sites live in constant communication with each other.
